December 1, 2023Q: I was working with a management company but I never actually signed the contract, that means there is no agreement, right?
A: There is a common MYTH that if you didn’t physically sign the contract then there is no agreement.
Just like your manifestations, you CAN speak your contract into existence. In some cases, contracts can exist without any writing at all. These are called Oral Contracts – they are significantly harder to prove, which is why I always encourage people to get everything in writing but, there can be a legally enforceable contract from spoken words, and without a physical signature.
One of the very first things you learn in law school is that every valid contract requires this formula: (O+A)+C=K
(Offer + Acceptance) + Consideration = Contract
