From humble beginnings to nearly 14 years of empowering clients through movement, Laura's story is a testament to passion, perseverance, and building something worth protecting.

For nearly 14 years, Mega Barre Studio has been helping clients move, strengthen, and connect. Yet, its success story is anything but traditional. Founder Laura Zavadil, a professional dancer and registered dietitian, never planned to start a business. What began as teaching barre classes to a few friends quickly grew into a thriving studio. Today, Mega Barre offers more than 60 classes each week, employs more than 20 instructors, and has built a strong fitness community in Northeast Ohio.

As the studio expanded, Laura introduced Lagree training, developed her own fitness modalities, and realized the importance of protecting what she had worked so hard to create. Through Sunshine Law Firm, she secured trademarks, strengthened instructor agreements, and protected the intellectual property behind her growing teacher training and licensing program.

"It helps me sleep better at night because I don't worry about it anymore," she says.

Now, Laura is focused on the next chapter: helping fitness professionals grow their businesses through a teacher training and licensing program that offers an alternative to the traditional franchise model.

Looking back on her journey, she shares one piece of advice:

"If something is valuable enough for you to build and put into the world, it's valuable enough to protect."

As Mega Barre enters its next chapter, Laura continues to prove that protecting your vision is just as important as building it and that the right foundation can create opportunities for growth far beyond your own studio walls.
